That Scott Stevens guy is on another wavelength entirely, and when he's gearing up to shake up our conception of snowboarding, there's only one deck he grabs: the Capita Scott Stevens Pro Snowboard. With cork dampening throughout, and a lightweight core, this board is meant to let you jib, play, and create like the one and only Sleepy Steve. Has anyone figured out why he's called, "Sleepy Stevens?" With all that innovation and imagination, you'd think he'd be called, "Hyper Stevens." Oh well. Might as well change that tape, strap up this pro model, and go figure out how to do fastplant back two ons. It can't be that hard, right?

LAMINATES
Pre-Cured Basalt Beams – Originating from solidified volcanic lava, basalt is an abundant resource long known for it’s thermal properties, strength, and durability. When carefully oriented into the board, this natural material helps you increase power and pop while creating a damp, calm ride. CaPiTA precures this into an arched shape that counters the board's camber profile. This counter acting configuration multiplies the energy when the board is flexed and creates a board with twice the ollie power and response than a board with standard basalt additives.
Full Length 1.5mm Cork Dampening – Damp, durable, and lighter than rubber, cork dampening is placed in between the steel edge and the ABS sidewall for increase protection from blunt force impacts.
Dynaweave™ Fiberglass – The Dynaweave™ configuration features triaxial fiberglass on the top of the core and biaxial fiberglass beneath, creating more response while increasing strength and durability. Combine this layup with a specialized resin and one of the many additives CAPiTA has available and you get a high performing board tailored to meet your style of riding.
Plant Based Evo Resin – Low temperature requirement, consistent and durable output. This resin system has a bio-content of 60% renewable, agricultural raw materials. It is plant based that does not compete with primary food sources and is produced with no waste or green house emissions.
