• RESIN: MAGIC BEAN™ RESIN - Capita uses eco-friendly resin for all their boards, produced without waste and greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, it provides high performance with reduced heat demand, meaning less energy consumption in the snowboard manufacturing process. • SIDECUT: SURF BLENDED RADIAL - inspired by surfboard design and on-snow riding functionality. SURF BLENDED RADIAL sidecut is a completely new edge cut shape, perfect for riding in powder. This shape features classic radial sidecuts around and beyond the binding area, which then transitions into a large, smooth reverse blend zone, and ends with significant tapering. Surf the earth and ride freely in fresh snow!
• SIDEWALL: full ABS1000 sidewalls.
• INSERTS: stainless steel 4x2 inserts.
• LAMINATE: PLT™ - The PLT™ technology is exclusive to CAPiTA MFG and magically bonds the top layer to the already pressed snowboard. This is unique in the snowboard industry, as the rest of the world applies graphic top layers using glue, heat, and pressure during the pressing stage. This causes the fiberglass structure underneath to show through the top layer. And because no one wants to spend their hard-earned money on an uneven snowboard, many companies additionally cover their boards with a thick, toxic lacquer to even out the surface. Not only is this HEAVY and can lead to unsightly cracks, but it is also very unhealthy for the work environment. The PLT™ machine produces feather-light, smooth, glossy finishes without all that toxic ballast, resulting in a great-looking, multi-layered laminate structure. The combination of matte with glossy elements and gold lettering makes an amazing impression.
