• RESIN: MAGIC BEAN™ RESIN - Capita uses an eco-friendly resin for all its boards, produced with zero waste and greenhouse gas emissions. It also offers high performance with reduced heat demand, resulting in lower energy consumption during the snowboard production process. • SINTERED BASE: HYPERDRIVE™ is a unique formula created specifically for the CAPITA The Mothership factory, which you won't find anywhere else. Capita engineers worked tirelessly with a leading polyethylene supplier to create this material with extraordinary sliding properties, resulting from high molecular weight and special additives in the production process. This causes the fiberglass structure underneath to show through the top layer. And since no one wants to spend their hard-earned money on an uneven snowboard, many companies also cover their boards with a thick, toxic lacquer to level the surface. Not only is this HEAVY and can lead to unsightly cracks, but it is also very unhealthy for the work environment. The PLT™ machine produces a feather-light, smooth, glossy finish without all that toxic ballast, resulting in a beautifully multi-layered laminate.
