The CAPiTA DOA snowboard is undoubtedly the most popular board in the entire lineup and one of the most popular snowboards in the world. It enjoys an excellent reputation as an incredibly versatile snowboard.
D.O.A. owes its popularity to its versatility. The board's profile remains unchanged with RESORT V1, which is a camber with flat contact points with the snow, providing great edge control, easy turn initiation, and good pop!
The P2 SUPERLIGHT™ core reduces weight while providing high impact strength and maximum pop. Thanks to the construction's reinforcement with long and wide carbon fiber inserts 2 x 30 mm CARBON BOOSTERS and the fast sintered base QUANTUM DRIVE™, this board is very fast and responsive.
This season, DOA has gained a new combination. Carbon fiber has been directly woven into biaxial fiberglass, creating a hybrid fiber - HYBRID HOLYSHEET™ BI/BI CARBON, which reduces weight and allows for more precise fiber placement.
DOA is a great board for both the slopes and the park!

PROFILE:
- CAMBER: RESORT V1 - The RESORT V1 profile fully utilizes the advantages of traditional, zero, and reverse camber. This next-generation construction allows you to achieve pop and board response with traditional camber, along with all the predictability and easy turn initiation of zero camber and rocker.
TECHNICAL DETAILS:
- CORE: P2 SUPERLIGHT CORE™ - A very light and durable core. The combination of strong and energetic poplar wood with ultra-light paulownia creates an explosive mix of low weight, pop, and durability.
- FIBER: NEW! HYBRID HOLYSHEET™ BI/BI CARBON - The latest type of fiber in the CAPiTA MFG factory. Carbon fiber strips have been woven directly into the double weave fiberglass. This reduces weight and allows for more precise fiber placement. The double weave fiberglass is located on both sides of the core, providing better vibration absorption and better energy transfer to the edge.
- RESIN: MAGIC BEAN™ RESIN - Capita uses eco-friendly resin for all its boards, produced without waste and greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, it provides high performance with reduced heat requirements, meaning less energy consumption in the snowboard production process. This allows the core to be lighter while maintaining the same board properties. That's why CAPiTA boards are among the lightest on the market!
- SINTERED BASE: QUANTUM DRIVE™ BASE - Stronger, tougher, faster! The Quantum Drive base is an enhanced sintered polyethylene with ultra-high molecular weight and ultra-high density - the Millennium Falcon of bases, a very durable sintered base.
- EDGES: 360-degree HRC48 Steel Edges.
- SIDECUT: BLENDED RADIAL - This advanced solution combines the advantages of classic edge designs with modern innovations, improving the overall riding characteristics of the snowboard. This construction combines a classic straight radius in the middle section of the board with unique blending zones at the contact points. The middle section provides stability and predictability during riding, while the blended sections are areas where the board's edge transitions smoothly from one radius to another, allowing for better adaptation to different conditions and riding styles. Benefits: better control, greater versatility, and smoother riding.
- SIDEWALL: full ABS1000 sidewall protection.
- INSERTS: Stainless steel 4x2 inserts
- LAMINATE: PLT™ - PLT™ technology is exclusive to CAPiTA MFG and magically bonds the top layer with the already pressed snowboard. This is unique in the snowboard industry because the rest of the world applies top layers of graphics using glue, heat, and pressure during the pressing stage. This causes the fiberglass structure underneath to show through the top layer. And since no one wants to spend their hard-earned money on an uneven snowboard, many companies further coat their boards with thick, toxic varnish to even out the surface. Not only is this HEAVY and can lead to unsightly cracks, but it is also very unhealthy for the work environment. The PLT™ machine produces feather-light, smooth, glossy finishes without all that toxic ballast, resulting in a beautifully presented multi-layer laminate structure. The combination of matte with glossy elements and gold inscriptions makes a stunning impression. Besides final pressing of the ink into the board, CAPiTA uses digital printing and classic screen printing throughout the production process, ensuring multi-layered graphics.
MADE IN AUSTRIA! Capita produces and develops new technologies in its own factory, which is not the norm in the industry. This gives them access to the best technologies for producing their own boards. CAPiTA MFG – The Mothership is an example of how modern production should operate. ZERO CO2 emissions, energy drawn from renewable sources, and 98% of the materials used in board production are sourced from nearby regions, thus not contributing to pollution resulting from transportation. The factory even has its own slope for testing new solutions!
