With legendary status as an all-terrain slayer and too many accolades to list, the Black Snowboard Of Death has been continuously transformed and modified in pursuit of perfection. The only element that has remained unchanged over the years is the name itself.

The Black Snowboard Of Death is powered by an ultra-lightweight core, the THERMOPOLYMER HOVER CORE™, which, combined with additional carbon pads under the binding - CARBON FLEECE POWER SHIELD™ and reinforcement CARBONFLAX™ AMPLIFIERS, accelerates energy transfer to the edge.

CAPiTA The Black Snowboard Of Death is slightly wider, making it great for floating in fresh snow, but thanks to the more pronounced arch of the DEATH GRIP™, i.e., a reversed sidecut in the central part, it allows for instant transitions into quick turns.

Thanks to its well-balanced directional shape and powerful construction, this specially designed rocket vehicle provides incredible control - making you a better snowboarder in variable terrain and changing conditions.

This season, THE BSOD has been accelerated with a new super-fast sintered base, the HYPERDRIVE™ ADV XT BASE, supported by the base structure MOONSHOT OMNI-TUNE™, which further enhances water drainage and speeds up the board even more. The base is thicker than the previous version for increased durability.

PROFILE:

• CAMBER: ALPINE V1 - The ALPINE V1 Profile design features camber in the middle, with a flat tail and reverse camber on the nose. This allows for a lot of pop and stability on hard snow while increasing float and landing power, expanding the rider's possibilities in deep snow. The camber is longer in the tail - providing extra power during ascent or for larger riders looking for a wider board.

• CORE: THERMOPOLYMER HOVER CORE™ - Extremely lightweight and versatile core with high impact resistance and maximum pop. Hybrid core! A combination of ultra-lightweight paulownia wood, with energy-returning poplar. The wooden base is complemented by SUPER CARBON along with recycled material inserts. This combination of materials provides excellent energy distribution to the edge, great vibration absorption, and incredible pop!

• FIBER: HOLYSHEET™ TRI/TRI FIBERGLASS - Triple weave fiberglass on both sides of the core provides better vibration absorption and better energy transfer to the edge.
• RESIN: MAGIC BEAN™ RESIN - Capita uses eco-friendly resin for all its boards, which is produced without waste and greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, it provides high performance with reduced heat requirements, which means lower energy consumption in the snowboard production process. Thanks to it, the core can be lighter while maintaining the same board properties. That's why CAPiTA boards are some of the lightest on the market!
• SINTERED BASE: NEW! HYPERDRIVE™ ADV XT BASE™ - This is a unique formula created specifically for CAPITA's The Mothership factory, which you won't find anywhere else. Capita engineers worked tirelessly with a leading polyethylene supplier to create this material with extraordinary sliding properties, resulting from a high molecular weight and special additives in the production process. This sintered material has a patented composition and is incredibly fast and, this year, additionally thicker for increased durability. CAPITA fans ride hard, so we used the most advanced, fastest base available on the market.

• SIDECUT: NEW AGE PROGRESSIVE DEATH GRIP™ - This advanced sidecut combines the features of a progressive edge with Death Grip™ technology. The progressive edge consists of two or more radii, allowing for easier turn initiation, greater control, and maximum power when exiting the turn. Death Grip™ adds a reversed arc in the central part of the board, increasing the contact point, providing better grip and precise pressure application. The combination of these two technologies in the NEW AGE PROGRESSIVE edge makes the board exceptionally versatile, offering easy turn initiation, excellent control throughout the turn, and maximum power when exiting the turn, while also providing an additional contact point and control thanks to Death Grip™ technology.

• LAMINATE: SKINLESS™ CORE ASH WOODGRAIN TOPSHEET™ - Specially processed veneer from pure ash wood with a unique tactile feel, which is 220 g lighter than the standard process. Ash wood is characterized by high strength, flexibility, and low weight, making it an ideal material for snowboards. Its light color and distinct grain give the boards an elegant look, and its ease of processing allows for precise finishing. The use of ash provides aesthetics, functionality, and durability to the equipment.

ADDITIVES:

• 4 x 25mm CARBONFLAX™ AMPLIFIER - This next-generation natural flax fiber interwoven with carbon fibers is used in our highest quality snowboard constructions. This tape combines the best features of both materials: the reactive energy of carbon and the lightness and damping properties of flax. Both fibers are highly compatible as they have similar properties regarding thermal expansion and tensile strength, creating a uniform reinforcement that is light, springy, and durable at the same time.
• CARBON FLEECE POWER SHIELD™ carbon pads under the bindings, providing a lot of power and literally a safety cushion in the form of stability in varied terrain and ease of turning in difficult conditions.
• INLAID ALLOY NOSE + TAIL SKID PLATE - Additional reinforcement of the board ends, ultra-lightweight and durable to reduce weight while providing durability.
