Snowboard CAPITA Outerspace Living 150 2025
The Capita Outerspace Living snowboard is a true blend of a freestyle twin-tip shape with a hybrid camber perfect for freeride. The inserts are slightly set back, but there's also the option to mount the bindings centrally, making the Outerspace Living suitable for everyone: beginners, jibbers, groomer enthusiasts, and deep powder freeriders! A very versatile board!
The very lightweight poplar core combined with beech MULTIZONE CORE™ provides excellent energy transfer and adds stiffness. Together with the sintered base SUPERDRIVE™ ADV BASE, this creates an explosive combination of responsiveness and speed.
Outerspace Living boards are inspired by the CAPiTA Mercury series. Simply put, this is a softer counterpart to the Mercury with more versatile characteristics.

PROFILE:

It features a traditional camber raised between the inserts for edge hold at high speeds in variable terrain, raised contact points for landing and float in powder, and traditional nose and tail rocker for smoother transitions.
TECHNICAL DETAILS:
- CORE: MULTIZONE CORE™ - Very lightweight poplar and beech core. Flexibility combined with power and durability, all while maintaining a low weight!
- FIBER: SPECIAL BLEND FIBERGLASS - Biax / Biax – an optimal blend of biaxial fiberglass, lighter than traditional fiberglass.
- RESIN: MAGIC BEAN™ RESIN - Capita uses eco-friendly resin in all its boards, produced without waste and greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, it provides high performance with reduced heat demand, which means lower energy consumption in the snowboard production process. Thanks to this resin, the core can be lighter while maintaining the same board properties. That's why CAPiTA boards are some of the lightest on the market!
- SINTERED BASE: SUPERDRIVE™ ADV BASE - Thanks to a manufacturing process that uses very high pressure and temperature, this increases the surface hardness, resulting in a base that combines the best of both worlds: the speed of a sintered base and the durability of an extruded one. Additionally, it's more transparent, so the graphics are more visible.
- EDGES: 360 degree HRC48 Steel Edges.
- SIDECUT: RADIAL - The radial sidecut shape features an arc from the same radius, allowing you to start and end a turn on the same arc. Thanks to this single arc, the board is more predictable, which increases confidence, glides smoothly throughout the arc, and is easy to control. Furthermore, the classic radial is energy-efficient and performance-oriented. A well-designed sidecut radius supports the natural motion of the snowboarder, allowing for dynamic and smooth maneuvers. The radial design is valued for its smoothness, ease of control, and versatility, making it a popular choice among snowboarders with varying skill levels and riding preferences.
- SIDEWALL: Full ABS1000 sidewalls.
- INSERTS: Stainless steel 4x2 inserts
- LAMINATE: PLT™ - PLT™ technology is exclusive to CAPiTA MFG and magically bonds the top sheet with the already pressed snowboard. This is unique in the snowboard industry, as the rest of the world applies top layers using glue, heat, and pressure during the pressing stage. This causes the fiberglass structure underneath to show through the top layer. And since no one wants to spend their hard-earned money on a bumpy snowboard, many companies further coat their boards with thick, toxic lacquer to smooth the surface. Not only is this HEAVY and can lead to unsightly cracks, but it is also very unhealthy for the work environment. The PLT™ machine produces feather-light, smooth, glossy finishes without all that toxic ballast, resulting in a great-looking multi-layer laminate structure. The combination of matte and glossy elements with gold lettering makes a stunning impression. Besides the final ink pressing into the board, CAPiTA uses both digital printing and traditional screen printing along the way, ensuring a multi-layered graphic.
MADE IN AUSTRIA! Capita produces and works on new technologies in its own factory, which is not common in the industry. This gives them access to the best technologies in their snowboard production. CAPiTA MFG – The Mothership is an example of how modern production should work. ZERO CO2 emissions, energy drawn from renewable sources, and 98% of the materials used in production come from nearby regions, reducing pollution from transport. The factory even has its own slope for testing new solutions!

What bindings should you choose for the CAPiTA Outerspace Living snowboard?
The CAPiTA Outerspace Living is a very versatile board with a medium flex, ideal for riding at ski resorts and in parks. The bindings we recommend also have a medium flex and can be selected depending on where you ride most frequently. Freestyle options will be suitable for park riding fans, while all-mountain bindings are perfect for riders who spend most of their time on the slopes.
Our recommendations are:
- UNION Force Classic Bindings - a bestseller from Union, in the collection for 20 years, bindings literally for everything with medium flex and a very good reputation.
- UNION Strata Bindings - classic freestyle bindings.
- UNION STR Bindings - all-mountain bindings for those who spend most of their time on the slopes and have ambitious all-mountain goals.
