• SIDECUT: RADIAL - Radial sidecut shape, which features a sidecut from the same arc, allows for starting and finishing a turn on the same arc. With the cut from a single arc, the board is more predictable, increasing the sense of confidence, smoothly guiding throughout the entire arc, and is easy to control. Moreover, the classic radial is energy-efficient and performance-effective. Skillfully designed turn radius supports the natural motion of the snowboarder, allowing for dynamic and smooth maneuvers. This is unique in the snowboard industry because the rest of the world applies top sheets using glue, heat, and pressure during the pressing stage. This causes the fiberglass structure underneath to show through the top sheet. And since no one wants to spend their hard-earned money on a bumpy snowboard, many companies additionally coat their boards with a thick, toxic lacquer to level the surface. Not only is it HEAVY and can lead to unsightly cracks, but it’s also very unhealthy for the working environment. The PLT™ machine produces feather-light, smooth, glossy finishes without all that toxic ballast, resulting in a stunningly layered laminate structure. The combination of matte with glossy elements and gold lettering makes an amazing impression. Besides final ink press-on the board, CAPiTA utilizes both digital printing and classic screen printing during the production process, ensuring a multi-layered graphic.
