Guided by the belief that the ascent shouldn’t be an afterthought, we’ve spent the past three years reimaging how a backcountry boot should perform—especially while skinning and hiking. With a simple twist of its Boa coilers, you can loosen the boot’s fit for optimal comfort on the approach and then tighten things up for superior response on the descent. Its shell is designed to shed snow and offers unrivaled protection from the elements. In addition to reducing the boot’s footprint by one centimeter, a new last provides exceptional support when hiking and mirrors the natural movement of your strides. A rubber rand and Vibram East Ridge outsole maximize the boot’s traction and durability while its -20° lining keeps feet warm.
